League Winner Predicts Research Paper

League Winner Predicts metric has been something that I have wanted, but I knew I needed technical skills in order to proceed. When learning R, I needed a project which showed my technical know-how, and therefore it made sense to build the metric.

The metric itself is inspired by Scott Barrett of FantasyPoints.com about 'Upside Wins Championships', but industry pros don't give out every player they like. So in order to get a bigger sample size of players I want to draft, I needed to build a metric myself.

I used point-scoring benchmarks to understand how important they were to winning each season and looked at context outside of the numbers to see if anything could have affected the player.
